Reporting directly to the General Manager (Brazil) and with a dotted-line to the CFO (Latin America), leading a team of 8 people. Start-up in November 2009.
·Responsible for organizing and leading the Administrative-Financial Area, including Treasury, Credit and Collections, Controlling, Accounting, Human Resources (compliance with the policies established by the headquarters for Latin America), Information Technology activities besides Insurances and Logistics (from December 2010 to September 2011).
·Management of the company's financial strategy, supporting the expansion and stabilization of business and brand in the country.
·Design of cash flow daily control tool, enabling more accurate forecasts in order to raise funds or surplus cash investment in the financial market.
·Responsible for outlining and developing the Finance Department (designing job descriptions and hiring team), providing the necessary financial support for business management.
·Implementation of Protheus-10 (TOTVS), a local Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), increasing management information access.
·Brought the Accounting area in-house, generating information management improvement and providing support to financial figures and to the decision-making.
·Elaboration of managerial control reports allowing more accurate overview for business management.
·Brought Warehousing in-house decreasing freight by USD 4.44 per piece, representing savings of USD 4 million/per year, decreased freight insurance by USD 150 thousand/per year, and also improving the management risk.
·Implementation of IFRS in compliance with accounting rules in the Headquarter (Taiwan) and Brazil.
