  1. Prepare engineering design drawings based on the 2D to describe the structural or Piping requirements for use by clients, or vendors.
  2. Acts as the department point of contact on internal and external drafting issues.
  3. Responsible for the preparation of Material Take Off (MTO). To coordinate and file the relevant design with details, communication and information to allow. Each discipline to interface correctly with the department.
  4. Checking & Issue of Isometrics (P&ID Check, Line Routing, Support Check, Special requirement check etc.).

  1. Update and maintain Engineering Department payroll using time and attendance system. 
  2. Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverable such as products, engineering documents , fabrication status and construction of all discipline.
  3. Responsible for Piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule, Procedures (QA/QC Procedure, Fabrication Procedure, Installation Procedure) , Specifications, Priorities and Availability of Construction Drawings.
  4. Ensure the Productivity and Quality is maintained by subordinates. Coordinate with other Disciplines in site.
  5. Monitoring the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress Reports.
  6. Create MDRL ( Master Documents Register List ).
  7. Preparation of TQs/Comments on the Vendor Documents (Equipment Drawing, Spring Support Drawing, Special Valve Drawing etc.).
  8. Checking & Issue of Isometrics (P&ID Check, Line Routing, Support Check, Special requirement check etc.).
  9. Coordinate with design consultants, engineers project representatives, statutory and authority agencies to set up design deliverables requirements for submission. 
  10. Review design deliverables together with design consultant and engineers to ensure order for submission. 
  11. Participate in technical design clarification and project meetings. 
  12. Coordinate with project coordination team members, vendors and subcontractors with regards to workability and constructability of design. 
  13. Develop relations with planning engineer on design submission schedule and ensure timely design submissions. 
  14. Coordinate with document controller on design deliverables transaction to ensure smooth flow of documents. 
  15. Assist procurement team with all necessary technical inputs to facilitate award of procurement and subcontract packages. 
  16. Check and consult spools delivery in site.
  17. Involve in technical clarifications as required. 
  18. Schedule monitoring for manpower mobilization welding Dia-inch, No. of spools and Pipe Supports.
  19. Responsible for line checking after hydro test to complete the post punch list prior to sign-off the test packages before signing the completion of piping / mechanical.
  20. Ensure that blasting painting & hydro test reinstatement is to be done as per procedure.

  1. Project & Excel: Preparing progress % calculation systems, earned man-hours, productivity & Trend analysis. Progress Measurement using S Curves.
  2. Preparation of Weekly; Monthly & Three Months look-ahead Schedule. Updating actual Progress and all related information & comparison analysis.
  3. Coordinate schedule from multiple contractors and incorporate the information gathered into the overall project master schedule.
  4. Create Procedure & Work Package : Lifting Plan Procedure for Deck Extension, Work package Additional Diesel Genset – WHPA, Work Method Statement Deck Frame Installation, Design Lifting and Pad eyes Calculation.
  5. Prepare Drawing 3D For Procedure Lifting And Procedure Installation in WHPA.
  6. Preparation of TQs/Comments on the Vendor Documents (Equipment Drawing, Spring Support Drawing, Special Valve Drawing etc.)

  1. Prepare project drawing and shall have excellent computer skill with Autocad 3d & 2D, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, ability to create accurate design drawing from base project information, reporting, Estimating and supervision skills.
  2. Coordinate and assign projects to the drafting team. Ensure that workload is distributed appropriately and projects are completed in a timely, accurate manner.
  3. Monitor engineering contractors and review of their work
  4. Discussing and solving complex problems with Quality departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and client.
  5. Preparation of conceptual design and prepare actual design.

Document Control

  1. Control, distribute and maintain the status of electronic documents including manufacturer data reports from vendors using EDMS.
  2. Provide ACAD and PDF document files request from Central Services Engineering (CSE) Department and other services other than CSE.
  3. Record and report to supervisor for every ACAD/PDF files requested by services other than CSE such as LIP Fabrication Shop, FM, Technical Service, etc.
