Manage communications initiatives from conceptualization to final printed product, including brochures, annual reports, and school visit guides.
Prepare reports to summarize research results and implementation plans.
Manage media communications and inquiries, conduct interviews, write media releases and articles, source internal experts on various topics.
Prepare speaking notes and presentations for senior staff.
Develop proposals for funding and sponsorship to government sources, sponsors and stakeholders.
Prepare final reports for government funders, sponsors and stakeholders.
Lead cross-department teams within the organization for special projects and high profile events including the 2008 World Premiere Gala for Science North’s Mysteries of the Great Lakes IMAX film and the annual Martinis at the Max event.
Develop social media strategy for user-generated content that benefits Science North.
Establish mechanisms to calculate Return on Marketing Investment for various initiatives.
Create system of tracking and calculating value of earned media.
Create annual research plan to evaluate marketability of potential exhibit topics and titles.
