Career Summary

I have extensive experience in the insurance, real estate and tax fields. I have a passion for learning and have acquired the skills needed to get the job done. 

When employed by Farmers Insurance from 2004 to 2009, I held various roles in the National Catastrophe Corps and The National Property Center departments. Besides winning an award for excellent customer service, I was recognized by managers and fellow employees for my attention to detail and strong investigative skills. I also branched out into the public speaking arena by joining Toastmasters. I was voted best speaker by my fellow Toastmaster members.

Prior to joining Farmers, I worked for Ron Dean and Associates, a real estate appraisal firm. I was involved in every facet of the business including: new business development, customer relations, budgeting, accounts receivable and accounts payable. While there, I updated and installed office equipment and software.

While working for H & R Block I took all the available tax courses increasing my accounting and bookkeeping skills. Customers continue to contact me to assist them with their income tax needs.

My Bachelors Degree is in Business Administration from Pittsburg State University and I have an Associate in Insurance Services from the Insurance Institute of America. I am continually working and learning to upgrade my knowledge and skills.
