About Dennis DeMarino

An experienced business finance and procurement manager, Dennis DeMarino has served since 1996 as business administrator and board secretary for Woodbridge Township School District in Woodbridge, New Jersey. He administers a $200 million budget for a public school district with 24 schools and oversees a broad range of operations, including purchasing, accounts payable, and food services. In charge of project management, Dennis DeMarino has directed several major construction/facilities improvement initiatives.

He completed a $36 million roof renovation and solar panel installation for all 24 schools at $4 million below budget. Recently, he filed a successful application with the State of New Jersey for $4 million in Regular Operating District grants to install 15 new school boiler systems that will reduce district heating expenses by approximately $500,000 each year.

Earlier in his career, Mr. DeMarino served as a purchasing manager for the disposable bag producer Ronpak Incorporated. There, he supervised all procurement functions, maintained relations with clients such as McDonald’s and Taco Bell, and conducted procurement transactions for goods ranging from raw materials to manufacturing equipment.

As a member of the fraternal organization the Knights of Columbus, Dennis DeMarino helps run numerous fundraising events for charitable causes, including a donation drive that supports children with special needs. Mr. DeMarino also participates each year in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
