PROJECT MANAGER: Coordinated details, paperwork, workloads, decision making, cost analysis, and estimates necessary to take a project from concept, to design, to construction, and to completion. Managed crews of 3-7 people to ensure quality and dexterity.  Maintained records of all materials and chemical applications to monitor results and comply with safety regulations.Monitored and coordinated sub-contractors to ensure timeliness and conformity to specifications of projects.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN:  Developed landscape plans, design elements, and facilities improvements.  Analyzed and addressed all relevant factors in developing and constructing building and landscape improvements.  Selected plants for garden plantings based on growing environment, hardiness, pH, sun exposure, and individual plant requirements.  Consulted education, books and manuals when necessary to ensure plants were in ideal growing situation.

 CUSTOMER SERVICE / COMMUNICATION: Built customer rapport and trust through professional and courteous communications to ensure any problem resolution.Communicated with supervisor to determine work load and address any questions or requirements. Provided safety and technical training, problem resolution and performance reviews a to new landscape maintenance and construction employees

MOTOR VEHICLE / EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:  Safely and expertly used landscape equipment including skid steer, mini excavator, dump trucks, snow plows.  Daily operated and maintained hand and power tools common in gardening to accomplish projects from clean-ups, to laying sod, to snow plowing and removal, to complex planting and hardscape installation of long term project plans.

LANDSCAPING : Executed tasks including plant propagation, mowing, weeding, watering, fertilizing, trash and debris clean-up, bed cultivation, soil amending, mulching, and planting installations on a daily basis.  Selected appropriate chemical applications and exercised pruning techniques to maintain appealing appearance and health of plants and lawns.

MAINTENANCE:  Preformed general upkeep of buildings, driving range and miniature golf course.  Surveyed areas to ensure clear of trash and debris.  Monitored plants for disease and pests.  Applied chemicals as necessary according to manufacturer’s specifications.

LANDSCAPER:  Renovated landscape features around existing miniature golf course through weeding, mulching, and annual color and seasonal bulb plantings.  Designed and installed new landscape features to direct the flow of traffic and enhance the appearance of the course. 

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:  Drove gas powered golf cart and small automobile. Operated riding lawn mower, push mower, weed trimmer, and edger weekly to enhance the appearance of grounds.  Performed equipment maintenance including oil changes, blade replacement and sharpening, carburetor adjustments, and cleaning.

 Key Accomplishments:

    ∙  Increased miniature golf traffic two-fold due to landscape enhancement features added.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Acted as a primary contact to park visitors and campers to resolve questions and problems related to park facilities and layout.  Guided users to correct camping, beach, and parking locations to adhere to regulations.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE:  Completed daily and weekly assigned tasks of routine maintenance of park buildings.  Cleaned, painted, and carried out light duty carpentry and electrical repairs of cabins, bathrooms, and various other park buildings.

LANDSCAPE/GROUNDS MAINTENANCE:  Operated riding lawn mower and weed trimmer weekly to sustain appearance of grounds.  Expanded and maintained park trails through debris cleanup, pruning and brush removal.
