Arts Canterbury is a specialized program for the arts within the Ottawa-Carleton district school board. The Arts Canterbury program offers students the opportunity to fulfill their high school graduation requirements while having a concentration in design and visual arts.

Sportrak Tire Inc. / The Tire Factory is a fairly new start up company. Sportrak Tire Inc is the distribution division and The Tire Factory is the retail division. I am proud to say I was given the opportunity to help found and bring this corporation to life. It all started as a vision, and with hard work and dedication, within 20 months it functions as a successful automotive shop and automotive product distributor. As a fairly small corporation, my responsibilities at Sportrak Tire Inc. / The Tire Factory are very diverse and include, but are not limited to: managing day to day operations, managing business development, marketing, operations planning, outside sales, inside sales, b2b sales, and etc.
As the Internet Sales Rep it is my responsibility to oversee the internet department which responds to internet customer inquiries and ensures that the dealership actualizes its maximum profit potential on Internet sales. I generate sales opportunities by communicating with potential customers via phone/internet. I am also responsible for managing and training the sales staff to respond to live chats and emails effectively and efficiently.

SouthAsianFest is Ottawa’s largest, and only official South Asian festival which is held in the heart of downtown Ottawa every August. The festival presents South Asian culture but draws crowds from all cultural backgrounds since it showcases mainstream artists and performers, similar to how Blues Fest doesn't necessarily only showcase blues music. With SouthAsianFest, I become accomplished in all aspects of campaign development and proficient at collaborating with multiple stakeholders to determine target audience and develop strategic market plans that align with the companies business priorities and goals.

As a sales manager at Rogers, I was instrumental in developing and executing team monthly/quarterly sales and implementing sales strategies while working collaboratively with cross functional teams to exceed all targets. I was responsible for overseeing the team resources, career planning for team members, and input into performance evaluations. Additionally, I administrated structure, schedule and staffing requirements with a major emphasis on management and coordination tasks.

As the in house graphic designer at Mirch Masala Radio, I was responsible for the design and creation for a wide variety of platforms, social media, print, promo materials, and etc. I dealt with a variety of projects requiring everything from simple forms to complete branding. My work was mainly with Adobe Creative Suite CS4.
