Key Responsibilities

Sales and Distribution

• Responsible for implementation and execution of cement and clinker dispatch from packing plant unit at lumshnong.(7000 mt per day i.e. more than 300 trucks per day)

• Responsible for scheduling the programs for distribution of cement and clinker to all zones at lumshnong.

• Authorized to plan cement dispatch, in line with marketing requirement.  

• Responsible to make change in departmental working to improve the efficiency.

• Responsible for maintaining proper coordination with marketing department for delivery orders.

• Responsible for identification and implementation of training need for S&D employee.

• Preparing the daily reports for cement dispatches(Grade-wise, zone-wise, Invoice-wise), bags utilized report, target report,

• Ability to work with staff and managers at all levels of the organization, across all office locations.


• Follow up with the transporter for the most favorable rate for movement of goods.

• Prepared reports on staff and material movements and other operational logistics issue

• Co-ordination with the Clients and Transporters for Dispatching the Material timely and safely.

• Online permit issuing for state West Bengal, Mizoram, Tripura and Transit Pass (T.P.).

• Keeping track of movement of goods/shipment.

• Preparing of shipment schedule and forwarding it to the suppliers, forwarding agent, and the related persons for necessary action at their end.


• Proper follow up with clearing agents (CHA) & forwarders.

• Preparing and updating export MIS with every shipments.

• Preparing pre- shipment and post shipment documents for commercial & noncommercial Export shipments against LC and PO.(Sea - Road).

• Getting the Packing list and Order status report from various suppliers for arranging the necessary and preparing the necessary reports on weekly basis.

• Handling documentary works related with participation in various fairs.

• Preparing and submitting documents for DEPB/ Advance License/EPCG/Focus Product/ Focus Market .

• Preparing necessary documents Bill of Export, Certificate of Origin, Export Invoice, Weightment Certificate, packing List,ARE –1 and Consignee Note.

• Successfully dispatches Cement and Clinker to outside the country(Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal)

Having good command over MS office,especially in MS-WORD,MS-EXCEL,MS-POWERPOINT. Lots of experience in making graphs charts and presentation in my daily works with the use of these applications, a very good knowledge of MS excel formulas helps in making daily MIS reports.
