Early life: travelled the world as BOAC stewardess, was a trainee journalist with SOUNDS music paper and then lived in Boston, Japan, Paris, Brussels, Lisbon whilst studying the OU in psychology; graduated with Masters in Occupational Psychology – studying learning, training, assessment centres, culture change; in last year (of six) doing a doctorate on the Components of Successful Leaders at Lancaster University Management School with Professor Cary Cooper on The Components of Successful Leadership. Author of four books.
