About Deborah Festa

As a partner at the Los Angeles office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP since 2012, Deborah Festa continues an extensive legal career. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, she gained experience in areas ranging from mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance to investment funds and securities, before accepting her current position. Presently, she advises clients throughout the financial industry as the head of her firm's West Coast investment management and securitization practice. Among Deborah Festa's practice areas are negotiations, regulatory compliance, and sophisticated investments.

Throughout her professional life, Festa has earned accolades from numerous sources. The Legal 500 United States included her as a top attorney in its “Structured Finance” section due to her “good business sense and experience.” The Daily Journal named her as one of the state's “Top 20 Lawyers under 40.” She has published articles on collateralized loan obligations in Practical Law Company and The Banking Law Journal.
