To whom it may concern; I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a letter of reference for Debbie Lapp. I have had the opportunity to work with Debbie for the past two years as her direct supervisor at Extendicare Health Services, Inc. Debbie has been a pleasure to work with during that time. She offers a level of expertise that compliments and adds a tremendous value to our marketing and communications departments. I would like to highlight several of Debbie’s strengths that you may find of value when considering her for a position. First of all, Debbie is extremely creative and thoughtful of her client’s needs. She often has to adhere to a broad scope of client ideas and opinions. Debbie does a great job of probing the clients to determine what they are trying to achieve before she begins to develop a project. Debbie is extremely thorough and organized as well. During the time I have worked with her, she has never missed a deadline. She is very reliable when you give her a project to design. In addition to Debbie’s art abilities, she is even stronger suited in her ability to manage a project from idea to launch. Debbie’s expertise in strategic marketing helps our clients to better envision what they are trying to achieve with a project. Debbie has always been the one to keep others on task, whether that is gathering information that she needs from the clients to complete a project or managing the production process from proof and review through printing, product delivery, and invoice management. There is a lot of coordination that has to go into development of a project and I always feel confident that Debbie will manage that process from start to finish and make me aware of any concerns that may arise. Additionally, Debbie exudes a level of professionalism and dedication that is unmatched. Even during difficult situations, Debbie has always been very professional and courteous to her fellow coworkers and clients. Recently, our company has separated our Canadian and US operations which has led to the sales and divestment of two-thirds of our skilled nursing centers. As a result, operations has reduced the workforce by 75% to only leave positions critical to operations of the business. This has led to the elimination of the Marketing and Communications departments that Debbie has been a member of. Debbie has been a valuable asset to the organization, winning recognition throughout her tenure. She would be an outstanding addition to any organization and I hope I have the opportunity to work with her again in the future. If you have any additional questions regarding Debbie, please do not hesitate to call.
