It is my pleasure to write this testimonial for Dean. I met Dean in February, 2010 when I took over the PlaceMakers Hamilton operation at which Dean was the Logistic's Manager. We embarked on a significant transformation process and Dean, being alert to an opportunity, offered to lead a key part of this process on a Consultant/Contract basis.Dean's project involved moving our Distribution Centre operation from our Ellis Street site to our Te Rapa site; moving our Trade Sales, Estimating and Detailing Team's from our Ellis Street site to our Clarence Street site; setting up our Ellis Street site as a Bulk Storage facility only and undertaking a cost review of our service providers.Dean has performed this task admirably and the results for the business have been significant.During this project Dean has displayed outstanding leadership, organisational, coordination and planning skills. Dean is able to see (and contribute to) the big picture while still delivering on the detail. Dean is quick on the uptake, has loads of initiative and is self-motivated. Dean has a direct style which is ideally suited to the achievement of project goals. I would certainly use Dean again and am happy to act as a referee.

Chris Zaayman

Dean contracted to Fonterra Brands while I was the Supply Chain Manager. He completed numerous projects for us, from managing multiple distribution centers, investigating inventory issues, reviewing and re developing our credit return process and was an integral part of our JDE Warehouse Management Module implementation team.I am happy to provide a verbal referee for Dean at any time.

Roger Filippini

I worked with Dean on a medium-sized project for which he was the project manager. I found him to be very effective as a project manager, providing good coordination of the tradespeople while quickly resolving any issues that arose. He was easy to deal but with a strong focus on getting the job done on time and within budget- I would strongly recommend him to anyone needing a person with strong project management skills.

I have known Dean for over a decade and was responsible for finding him the opportunity at Fonterra Brands/New Zealand Dairy Foods – he did a great job for them.I rate Dean very highly as having strong experience in inventory and warehouse management, procurement and distribution. He is someone whose availability I would always seek out if I was considering candidates for a Senior Supply Chain contract assignment or permanent position.” December 16, 2009 Top qualities: Personable, Expert, High Integrity
