Over the past decade, Dean Kretschmar has owned, operated, and invested in various small and mid-size businesses. An acquisitions expert, he currently serves as President of Soaring Eagle Investments, LLC, where he actively manages the acquisition and improvement of existing businesses from end to end. In addition to identifying and evaluating companies for potential acquisition, Kretschmar secures investors, handles stakeholder relations, and recruits managerial talent. Recognizing the transitory period of acquisition as a time for business growth and development, Dean Kretschmar develops far-sighted business plans for the businesses which with he is involved, and he is devoted to improving their long-term viability and success. Before launching his career with Soaring Eagle Investments, Dean Kretschmar worked for Group One Capital, followed by Von Allmen Capital. At Von Allmen, Kretschmar was part of a team that acquired several acquisitions, one of which eventually sold to L’Oreal for $500 million. With extensive knowledge of marketing and finance, and experience in customer- as well as vendor- and investor-relations, Kretschmar lends thoroughness to his business ventures, operating with an eye toward long-term success rather than short-term profitability. In 1996, Kretschmar graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a minor in marketing, then went on to work as a Private Lending Specialist and Vice President for Nations Bank, before pursuing a career in acquisitions and private investment.Outside of work, Dean Kretschmar enjoys traveling and loves to be outdoors, mountain biking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, or simply working out. He also enjoys healthy cuisine and even earned a B.A. in the Art of Cooking from Fort Lauderdale’s Art Institute in 2006. Dean Kretschmar is actively involved in his church and supports charitable organizations such as the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club. He also sponsors the women’s US Olympic Alpine Ski Team.
