My goal as a teacher is for my students to learn to value learning, enabling them to drive their own education years beyond their time in my classroom. I believe people are the most valuable assets we have and the more we invest in them the richer our world will be.

I aim to find ways to empower all students to access learning opportunities through identifying their personal interests and strengths and drawing links between those and the curriculum. I understand the power of helping students develop confidence in themselves as learners.

More than a decade's experience coaching youth aged cricket and football, having obtained level one coaching accreditation through both.

2015 - Thomas Carr College

Five-week placement with Drama and English as teaching methods. Taught year 10 English under mentor Anjie Singh and year 7, 8, 11 and 12 Drama classes under mentor Michael Dalley. 

2014 - Bellbridge Primary School

Five-week placement in a Grade three generalist classroom under mentor Lynne Lloyd.

2013 - Werribee Primary School

Three week placement in a Prep team teaching classroom under mentor Kylie Marshall.
