Recruited as member of senior leadership team to re-launch brand and develop company’s first national media strategy for Macy’s, Inc. - a $25B company. Developed media, integrated marketing, and branded entertainment strategies to support award winning “Magic of Macy’s” brand campaign. Responsible for all General Market and Hispanic media strategies supported by a $270MM annual media budget. Crafted strategy and managed branded entertainment and original TV/digital content efforts to elevate Macy’s brand. Developed company’s first digital strategy to integrate e-commerce and bricks and mortar businesses. Managed 65-person agency team and 10-person internal team. Key leader of team that created the 2008 Holiday "Believe" multi-media campaign that won the Retail Advertising Award of the Year for Traditional Media by the World Retail Congress, which recognizes outstanding innovation and creativity delivered by retailers across the global.
