Objective

For the past seven years I have worked with several community organizations as well as programs assisting youth and the disabled. I have taught, and administrated several programs involving elementary through adult ages. My most recent employment involved working directly with the mentally and physically disabled helping them become integrated into the community. I am conifdent I have the experience, determination, and passion  for this position.

Managed mulitple conssesion stands at the Denver Convention Center for large exibitions and banquets. This encluded opening and closing, count inventory, product placemnet and managment of a team of up to 8 employees. Great leadership and deligation were a huge role in my duties.

Community Program Counselor

As a program counselor I assisted participants by involving them in their community through outings and volunteering at non profit  locations, this included detailed case notes, transportation, hands on involvement during the outings and on occasions, G-tube feeding. I also lead as a job coach assisting participants in career development, this included detailed case notes, transportation, managing a team of 4 - 8 participants and teaching related job skills. I received CPR and first aid training as well as med. certification.

This includes keeping detailed case notes, mentoring, teaching job skills, and being certified in CPR and First Aid. Completed additional  training in mental and physical disabilities. In addition to my employment I implemented and taught a guitar class for disabled children and adults on a volunteer basis.

Organize and lead music for all services  by training and directing band members, and leading congregation in worship services. Assist in leadership, mentoring, teaching, and developing goals and outreach programs. Work with a diverse people group of multiple ages and back grounds. Oversee basic administration for church functions and programs in addition to building partnerships with community organizations that center around the needs of urban families and the homeless.

Started and run a commercial and residentail window cleaning company. Oversaw all client communication, cleaning work, accounting and invoices, advertisment, insurance and taxes, transportation and equipment maintenance, and sub-contracting. Work with clients from corporate offices, chain stores, banks, restaurants, small businesses, homes, and oversee construction cleanup for multiple contractors. In addition the profits from the business doubled every six months for the first three years.

Taught beginner and intermediate guitar to elementary age students at both the Lancaster and Palmdale campuses. Developed and taught program content that was taught to the 1st through 5th grade students. Worked with teachers and parents to coordinate instruction.

Developed and led all youth programs including community outreach, mentorship, teaching, volunteer coordination and administration. Directed music services for the church through training and leading band member, and  volunteering for community functions. Position also included whole church administration, teaching, program development, and mentoring. Organized multiple community based functions such as food distribution, and work in homeless shelters. Worked with people from a variety of ages and back grounds.
