Dr. David W. Stewart is a prolific writer, accomplished teacher, and trusted marketing consultant. He has held leadership positions in many academic and business organizations and won numerous awards during several decades of work. David W. Stewart is the current editor of the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing. Dr. David W. Stewart has also served as a marketing consultant or expert witness for government agencies and corporations such as the United States Census Bureau, Samsung, IBM, Visa, and Cadence Design Systems.
Additionally, Dr. David W. Stewart has served numerous academic organizations in both membership and leadership positions. Dr. Stewart is currently on the Board of Governors for the Academy of Marketing Science, and in the past, he has been Vice President of Finance and a Board of Directors member for the American Marketing Association. He also held the position of President of that organization’s Academic Council.
Dr. David W. Stewart has held the chairmanship or presidency of the United States Census Bureau’s Advisory Committee of Professional Associations, the Society for Consumer Psychology, and the Section on Statistics in Marketing for the American Statistical Association. Well regarded for his academic writing, he has been Editor of the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and the Journal of Marketing. He has won numerous awards for his academic service from organizations such as the Society for Marketing Advances, the Academy of Marketing Science, Baylor University, the United States Distance Learning Association, and the Decision Sciences Institute.
