Captain of the Gwinnett County Police Explorer Program
I am currently the Captain, the highest rank in the post, with the Gwinnett County Police Explorer Program.  This program is chartered by the Boy Scouts of America and is within the Gwinnett County Police Department as a paramilitary post set up for teenagers between 14 and 21 to learn about basic policing and law enforcement type scenarios.  This post is headed by advisers who are actual Gwinnett County Police Officers who have experience in the field and are great teachers when it comes to handing down first-hand experience to the post.  I joined the post in February of 2008 and since then I have worked my way up to the position of Captain, who is head of all other explorers.  I am currently over 20+ explorers and we meet every Thursday night and train for different scenarios whether it be how to handle a felony traffic stop, a domestic call, a DUI, or a basic pullover and how to write tickets.  These are only a few of the many things we learn and since my time with the post, I have learned infinite amounts of policing and how to be the most efficient leader I can be.  I always have had a likening for law enforcement and how they accomplish their work on a day to day basis.  This position goes hand in hand with my Eagle Scout because both put me in positions of leadership and have taught how to manage a group of people from every aspect, whether it be instructing a comprehensive drill for my explorer post to accomplish or showing my fellow scouts how to tie a knot.
Certified Personal Trainer
I am currently a certified personal trainer through the American Muscle and Fitness Personal Training online website.  I currently work at Fitness 19 in Buford, GA, as a personal trainer.  I started this due to my extremely favorite hobby, weightlifting and running.  Fitness has been my lifestyle for a few years now and I became accredited this past January.  This is something I am using as a small time job to earn a little money here and there, since I am also a student.  I am an extrovert at heart, so this job has shown me how to improve my interpersonal skills as I train potential clients to their desired goals.  I also learn how to deal with completely different people and reach a consensus with them, however, this is easy since I am already such a friendly person!
Eagle Scout
I have been a Boy Scout my whole life and I attained my Eagle Scout as of May 2009.  Through this, I have learned how to exemplify a leader in everything I do, whether it be school, work, or with friends.  Being an Eagle Scout is something that has showed me responsibility, time management, and maturity.

I am 18 years old, will be turning 19 this August, and I will be a first year student this fall at Kennesaw State University, north of Atlanta.  I am really just trying trying to find out exactly what I want to do, since I already will be studying business marketing.  I am just trying to find possible employers who may offer intern programs or who may take interest in college students for future job opportunities.  I am very interested in the business field and would love to find out what companies are offering.

I enjoy weightlifting and fitness as a passion.  I enjoy lifting weights and running since it is my lifestyle.  I enjoy playing a little golf here and there.  I am very interested in the business sector, specifically marketing, and would love to see my self doing something along this field within the next four to six years.  Whether it be the consumers products industry or within the sector of brand management, I am determined to work hard throughout college to make my dreams possible.  I also love movies, social networking on a daily basis, and love listening to music.
