Skills

Skills

Leadership

Developing the gifts and talents of a diverse team of believers, I work in that team environment to maximize and multiply exponentially the efforts and results of the ministry.

Activating/Motivating

Identifying external and internal inspiration, I point out potential and challenge groups and individuals to become and accomplish God-sized aspirations.

Vision Casting

I can see a completed picture of what a ministry or an individual can become.  Then I can relate that not-yet-fulfilled vision to be real to a team who will make the vision come to life.

Relating with people

I identify with and connect with individuals, sharing my faith relationally.  I meet people where they are and accept them as they are.

Preaching

I present the claims of Christ innovatively, boldly and clearly in local church services, youth events, rallies, inner city outreach events, street ministry, rehabilitation centers, and prisons. I utilize an expository preaching style that appeals to a diverse audience.  It is my goal to encourage people into a deeper understanding of Christ without overcomplicating or oversimplifying the message.

Custom

My wife, Lindsey, and I have just celebrated four years of marriage this past September.  We have one daughter, Emerson, who we welcomed into the world on Dec. 31, 2010.... talk about a New Year's Eve Party!

Lindsey has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama and is currently working as a hospice social worker.   Along with working and being a mom, she enjoys leading and being involved in small group discipleship.

Together, she and I share a passion not only for the local church, but also for church planting and church multiplication locally and globally.
