Managed overall business. Responsibilities included strategic planning, business development, client relations and creative direction. Lead client service team to define brand and marketing strategies. Supervised creative staff and vendor relationships. B2B and consumer work included branding, visual identity, collateral, direct mail, advertising, annuals, online, packaging, event marketing and promotion. Clients included Tetley USA, Productivity Inc., HBO, Mercedes-Benz Credit Corporation, First Call, Advest, Savin, Synchronoss Technologies.

  • Developed integrated marketing campaign for national Lean Manufacturing exhibit and conference that sold out in half the projected time frame.
  • Established new brand positioning and creative strategy for financial firm’s mid-level investment program that lead to more investor sign-ups in six months than in previous two years.
  • Created B2B sales collateral for tea lines targeted to the Foodservice industry that rebranded tea company as a marketing consultant resulting in a dramatic increase in sales from existing customers as well as many first time clients.
  • Received more than 15 design awards for visual identities, direct mail, brochures and stationery.

Creative Director

Created and managed brand identities and marketing plans for multiple golf properties. Determined annual budget, created marketing plans and established strategic partnerships in addition to developing all creative.

  • Developed marketing plan and branding campaign for one property that generated a 300% increase in membership over a nine month period. Program included name and visual identity, course signage, print and outdoor advertising, online and direct marketing, and a monthly newsletter.

Director of Membership & Corporate Sales

Great River Golf Club

Created business development plan for this market’s high-priced, daily fee public golf facility for all golf and corporate services that involved prospecting, networking, direct mail and strategic partnerships. Plan focused on building brand loyalty among existing customer base as well as the acquisition of new customers in a saturated golf market.

  • Created “Corporate Challenge” - a corporate team-based tournament that generated $14,000 net profit for benefiting charity. Defined format, sponsorship levels and prize structure.
  • Created “Great Tee Time Give-Away” - a cause-related program that would generate over $12,000 per month for charity. Promotional marketing involved point-of-sale, print, radio, website, e-mail marketing and public relations.

  • Echo Communicate - Worked with multi-disciplined teams to deliver cross-media marketing programs consisting of e-mail, direct mail and personalized Websites to clients in the higher-learning education (Capitol College), health (Maxim Healthcare) and financial/credit industries (Ascend One).
    • Responsible for creative strategy and initial concepts. Work included research, client discovery meetings, writing of creative briefs and client presentations.
    • Managed daily client communications including overall project management. Was also responsible for analyzing effectiveness of programs to identify opportunities for improvement in strategy and execution.
    • Assisted sales initiatives by providing marketing presentations relevant to targeted companies and industries, in addition to lending in-meeting presentation support.
  • VetCentric - Rebrand of sales collateral, online marketing and direct mail campaigns. Lead on redesign of Website including site architecture, overall creative strategy and design for this online companion animal pharmacy.
  • HIVE Television Network - Provided marketing and strategic planning, creative strategy and design solutions for all print and online marketing to help launch this online television network.
  • AED (ICS Learning Group) - Rebrand of nonprofit’s global education online portal that included brand strategy, visual identity and Website redesign. Role included account management and creative direction.
  • Kiewit Construction (ICS Learning Group) - Designed e-learning user interface and interactive timeline for global construction company.
  • Volunteer Account Director for Taproot Foundation - Supervised multi-disciplined team and provided high-level support to nonprofit client to deliver branding and creative solutions.

Executed and managed creative process from concept through production on all print, promotion, point-of-sale, event and direct advertising for Timex, Reckitt Benckiser (National and Channel marketing for household products lines-Lysol, Neutra Air and Electrasol), Pedigree (National and Channel marketing (Pedigree, Cesar, Sheba and Whiskas). Managed team of art directors and production personnel.

  • Lead creative on Neutra Air’s Life Stinks campaign that generated largest quarterly sales lift in more than two years. Work included rebranding, FSI campaign, direct mail and in-store POS.
  • Lead creative that won the Timex account with the New Faces of Timex integrated campaign featuring print and online.
