  • Construction Project Manager for new, relocations, expansions, major and minor remodels of the Men's Wearhouse brand.  Included MW Cleaners plants and upon acquisition of the Jos. A. Bank  expanded responsibilities to include multi brands simultaneously.
  • Developed a training tool for use by General Contractors to help standardize the delivery of quality stores no matter the builder.

  • In 2009, I opened the company’s first LEED inspired store incorporating environmentally sustainable construction processes and new technologies including photovoltaic, gray water recovery, satellite controlled irrigation and a living roof.
  • In 2008, I delivered west elm Plaza las Americas in Puerto Rico, the company’s first store on foreign soil, on schedule and with only 0.76% over-budget in a highly volatile environment, including 27 religious holidays between mid-November and mid-February.
  • In 2007, I built the company’s first 30-year lease ground up freestanding store at the Mall at Mellenia in Orlando, FL and brought it in on schedule with an amazing 11.36% under-budget performance. I was promoted to Senior Project Manager as a result of this success
  • In 2006 the first year of the west elm roll-out with a 10-project portfolio, I saved the company $2,800,000M by being under-budget on a $30M real estate construction portfolio.

Reviewed in-house schematic designs for functionality, oversaw development of, and provided technical review of construction documents. Prepared and managed project budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Conducted pre-possession inspections of Landlord work, final inspections of the tenant build-out, and coordinated the projects with local jurisdictions.

  • I was the first project manager in Gap history to build all three brands (Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy) and the Outlets.
  • I streamlined the PM budget forecast tool to make it more user friendly and effective, for which I won the Company 2003 Words to Live by Award for the “Less is More, Simplify” category.

A  California "Retired Architect" with 46 years experience as a Construction Project Manager in architecture and construction with 19 years in retail construction project management of new, reallocation , expansion and major open store remodels, including planning, design, contract documents, and construction administration.  A skilled team leader with a creative problem solving focus geared towards the corporate client and their needs.  A confident professional with the ability to make sound decisions on the fly and to work effectively under constrained conditions.
