Followed supervisors' instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take.Sanded body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from the paint.Primed and painted repaired surfaces, using paint sprayguns and motorized sanders.Inspected repaired vehicles for proper functioning, completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job, and tested drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment and handling.Measured and marked vinyl material and cut material to size for roof installation, using rules, straightedges, and hand shears. Applied heat to plastic panels, using hot-air welding guns or immersion in hot water, and press the softened panels back into shape by hand.Removed damaged panels, and identified the family and properties of the plastic used on a vehicle.Removed small pits and dimples in body metal using pick hammers and punches.Soaked fiberglass matting in resin mixtures, and applied layers of matting over repair areas to specified thicknesses.Cut openings in vehicle bodies for the installation of customized windows, using templates and power shears or chisels.

•Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.•Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine•Vacuum interior or vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner.•Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.•Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain- resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.•Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.•Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer.•Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicles, using touch-up paint.•Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
