0365 Sharepoint Architect (contract)

Shropshire county council

David is conducting a project scoping exercise, delivering a report, proposal, estimate and presentation for a public sector organisation that needs to change its business model, reorganise its workforce to use alternative ways of working and simplify its operations. The findings from this report are being integrated into a strategic ICT review which will be implemented this year. The council has close to a thousand locations, 3300 users and requires new systems to support this large scale business change project that will save time and money whilst also migrating from complex on premise IT to O365/Azure.

SharePoint Architect (contract)

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service
David is working for multiple superiors and user groups where along with the Programme and Senior management I lead, design and deliver a set of projects covering Infrastructure, IA, Portal, collaboration, MySite, ECM, BI, Search, systems Integration and Governance to enable the business to transform to a simpler model at a 23 site, 650 person, ‘24/7-365’ organisation. Running workshops, giving presentations and demos and facilitating meetings David helps the Fire Brigade to understand their issues, agree on vision and goals and co-design solutions that management and staff will adopt. David also formed, coached and led the delivery team into being a SharePoint and BI ‘practice’ to deliver the project. This resulted in an ultra-reliable Information system that is allowing the Fire Brigade to transform its operations and save time and money.
