I'm a fresh software developer who has worked for Amazon & IBM, and I'm currently looking for a position where I can work on meaningful and interesting projects while continuing to expand my skill set.
I also spent 8 years in competitive public speaking on a national/international level, even going so far as to have been the #2 ranked speaker in the US in my event in 2011. This allows me to communicate effectively across a wide variety of fields, topics, and backgrounds.
As an SDE, I worked across the Amazon.com site to develop new features for customers.
In particular, I have used Mason, jQuery, Git (on a highly distributed level), Amazon Web Services, and other technologies both internal and external.
In this role, I have worked on back-end features as well as front-end development, with some specialization in Mobile development.
As an intern for the Rational Team Concert team, I worked on improving the user experience for RTC/Jazz.net's Web UI, allowing more-accurate information to be surfaced to users and giving them greater control over project management.
My responsibilities included developing and testing feature code, reviewing team code submissions, and generally learning about professional development from the team who was mentoring me as an intern.
Code from this internship did ship into the production release.
