Assist a growing business with establishing a web presence. The requirement was to build a site which would allow routine updates and changes to be done by existent staff or management. Costs were to be kept to a minimum. The site should integrate with their existing software and not require any new software to build, maintain or learn. Worked with owners to establish a preferred domain name. Acquired domain name and related domain names. Assessed options on site software/hosting/etc Microsoft Office Live was selected as this met all the clients’ criteria. Worked with client to design the site to their specifications, built and published the site. Worked with client to define account hierarchies, access rights, user names and passwords. Integrated Office Live email with clients Outlook, trained staff on use of site and email (both O.L .and Outlook). Detailed integration of Contact Manager with forms and email. Optimized site for most efficient meta-tags and S.E’s validated using Google Analytics and O.L. reporting (ongoing). Updated all geo specific maps and local services with site details, photo’s etc. on all major search engines. Updated any sites referencing clients business with new site address. Updated all clients forms and documents to PDF to standardize access. Verified site and all required functions in MS IE, Apple Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
