I currently focus on winning key accounts and partnerships while leading other Solution Architects and Solution Engineers during RFP/RFI responses, technical evaluations, and solution selling across North American and Europe. I've also been responsible for annual sales and presales training material and presentations, contributing to product marketing, and being a key field sales advocate to R&D. I also recruited and trained new Solution Architects and Solution Engineers in regional offices.
Lead a team of pre-sales technical resources supporting all of Attivio's US and Canada field sales representatives as well as acting as primary solution architect for the Digital Business (formerly eBusiness) vertical. In this expanded role, I worked extensively with sales management to on-board and enable remote account executives and help them build pipeline in their first year.
Continued my work as a Solution Architect with a move into the Digital Business vertical. Provided vertical-focused expertise and guidance to Attivio's sales team and prospective customers across digital media. Developed marketing messaging and positioning for Attivio's offering.
I was the first outside hire to help build the technical sales team to support all aspects of Attivio's go to market. This included leading technical sales and evaluations with OEM prospects, global business development channels, and North American direct sales. Bringing a v.1 enterprise technology to market required extensive teamwork with R&D and contributing directly to the code base (Java) while in the field.
In a blended pre/post-sales role, I helped design, sell, and implement large scale end-to-end load tests for the most complex call center environments integrating VoIP infrastructure and CRM systems. Helped guide an off-shore engineering team tasked with making tooling for simulating state machines for simulating 1000's of call center agents. (I spent a lot of time packet sniffing!)
I jumped directly into the pre-sales world fresh out of college and immediately stood out in leading some of the most complex evaluations of Empirix's contact center testing and monitoring solutions with key clients including major airlines, insurance, and utility customers.

Sponsored by IBM, I continued on-going research into computational modeling of a highly invasive form of brain cancer. My contributions focused on evaluating stability and performance of numerical methods for simulating current state of the art models. Utilized MPP-based C code to apply algorithms at scale across a massively parallel processing platform within WPI. Won an honorable mention in the department's annual awards for projects and research.
