I know what you're asking - "A Mission Statement? I thought this was going to be a digital resume, not some kind of company overview". Consider this: "CV" in Visual stands for curriculum vitae and is Latin for the course of my life. A resume can show you the course of my experience and qualifications, but doesn't tell you something just as important -- who am I?
Naturally, you need to know my experience and qualifications; and can do so on my LinkedIn page. But I don't want to waste your time repeating things here. Normally, a Mission Statement gives you an idea about what the company wants to be perceived as. I'm not a company - I'm a person looking to work in your company; and a company is only as good as the people they hire. As an employer, you can teach me the inner-workings of the job, but you can't teach me attitude and work ethic. I bring those with me. So My Mission is to tell you the kind of worker I am - not what kind of experience I have.
