Main responsibilities: • Network management - LAN, WAN network to 19 outlets, KBC Brussels, - Firewall configuration based on Cisco Asa 5520 and Zywall USG clusters, failover and switchover solutions, access rules, routing, NAT, LAN, VLAN, WAN, VPN, - Cluster of proxy servers based on MS Forefront TMG 2010, access rules to web pages, - Active Directory in configuration with Roaming Profiles, - Network security, packets monitoring, http inspection. • Hardware management - Dell, Compaq, HP, Solaris servers - SUN OS, HP UX, Unix Ware, Red Hat 5, Windows 2003 and 2008, - other hardware: 3COM, Zyxell, TP-LINK, TRX, Xerox, Toshiba, Ethreadeal switchboard. • Software and services management - Bloomberg, Reuters, Statica information services, - NYSE Technologies access system to Warsaw Stock Exchange, - HP Data Protector backup system for all core servers, - Lotus Notes, - Online monitoring of servers and services. NetXMS, Servers Alive software; syslog, snmp, sms emergency alarm. • Supporting and coordinating business in new and running projects, • Team management, • Information Security Management. BCP and DRP procedures. Key successes: • Lonely Star project; Moving outlets to new premises outside KBC Bank, creating from scratch secure, independent and cost efficient LAN/WAN network with connection to KBC Brussels. Solution based on cluster of ASA 5520 firewalls and Zywall USG 200/20 routers. • Fallback Office for Head Office with access to all core services. • Implementation of stock market related systems. • Moving KBC Consumer Finance to new premises, creating new LAN/WAN network with access to all required services. • Implementation of Active Directory. • Remote access to corporate resources for mobile users. Programming: • Visual Studio Web (e.g tool to register and report stock market orders for institutional clients), • Word and Excel marcos to process data from AS400, • AutoIT tool to automate windows GUI tasks.
