Having studied Spanish at the university level for two years, I am conversationally proficient and have intermediate written communication skills.
I also have basic written and oral communication skills in French, and have some conversational knowledge of Swahili.
Currently in my final semester of studies at the University of Western Ontario, I am studying toward an honors B.A. in International Relations. My objective is to obtain an internship with your organization, beginning as early as December 12, 2011. I am eager to apply the critical analysis and research skills I have acquired throughout my degree to a practical working environment, and I am confident that I would be able to add significant value to your organization. My international volunteer experience with Youth Challenge International, as well as my background working in an office environment and my past experiences as an elite competitive skier, make me a flexible and adaptable intern with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

I was the silver medalist in women’s dual moguls in the Canadian Series National Grand Prix 2006, and the bronze medalist in both single and dual women’s moguls at the 2006 Junior National Championships.
Aside from being an active skier, I am also an avid traveler, and continue to pursue my goal of visiting every continent by age 30 each summer. I also enjoy playing golf, baking, and learning new languages.
