With over 33 years experience as a healthcare executive, Dan Neumeister began his own healthcare management firm in 2007 as acting Principal. Alongside his team of medical professionals, Neumeister Healthcare Management Services supports the growth and goals of medical institutions through its administrative services. Neumeister Healthcare assists in restructuring the various tiers of hospital operations to include executive management, patient care and quality systems, fiscal management, and profit optimization. Clients of the firm include the California Hospital Association, MEDS Global Healthcare, and Chase Brexton Health Services. Prior to founding his own company, Dan Neumeister began his career in healthcare management as an Administrative Resident at Grossmont District Hospital that led to the position of Administrative Assistant. Subsequently, Dan Neumeister served as Chief Operating Officer at Salinas Valley Memorial District Hospital for 11 years. Then in 1993 he served as Vice President of Sales at Baxter Healthcare, Inc. He oversaw the company’s sales of expertise medical devices, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical products. During his tenure, the company increased its annual sales to $150 million. Dan Neumeister then took the role of Chief Executive Officer at Enloe Medical Center. Among his various duties, he directed the hospital’s medical technology integration system, transitioning into electronic record management in order to streamline services and ensure patient safety. He played a central role in expanding the team of board-certified physicians and surgeons with specialties in their respective fields of neurosurgery and bariatric surgery as well as trauma, cardiac, cancer, and stroke care. As a result, Enloe Medical Center developed into the 13th largest cardiovascular program in California. His commitment to the healthcare industry continues to drive his professional practice and efforts in advancing patient care.
