I am constantly seeking new ways to serve schools, students, teachers, athletes, community, and my family. I believe that much is expected of those who have been given much! I provide leadership through service which builds consensus and inspires lasting positive change in organizations and individuals.
Serve and support all administrative functions of a direct-funded charter high school. Responsible for testing, master calendar, student discipline, intervention, truancy, facilities, safety. Chair the following administrative committees, charter renewal, financial sustainability, and graduation.

Trained and licensed to provide professional development seminars and resources to schools and educators in effective classroom management strategies and school-wide discipline. I have been invited to present at the following conferences to date:
Volunteer position, a founding member, served on the compliance committee. Collaborated, advised, and coordinated efforts with league commissioners throughout the United States advocating the progression and growth of collegiate club volleyball.
Served 5 seasons in a volunteer position coordinating a collegiate club volleyball league consisting of 11 universities and colleges throughout Northern California. Duties included event planning, compliance, training, mentoring, budgeting, and collaborating with multiple levels of university administration.
Served 6 seasons in a volunteer position collaborating with other league commissioners and coaches around the country to produce accurate national rankings for women's collegiate club volleyball.
Manage student behavior, supervise/evaluate staff, support parent council and committees, supervise task force process, direct HR recruiting, oversee the after school program, serve on charter council committees, coordinate enrollment, manage 48,000 sq. ft. facility, and support the Executive Director at Blue Oak Charter School serving over 360 k-8 students and 30 staff members at an independent public charter Waldorf-methods school. Significantly contributed to the charter renewal process.
Interim Assistant Principal (6th - 8th)
Managed student discipline, athletics, and supported staff at C.K. Price Middle School serving over 500 students and 30 staff members.
Education Alternative Center Teacher (3rd - 12th)
Designed and implemented a highly effective in-school suspension classroom serving grades 3-12 and three separate school sites for the 07-08 school year. served as a model program for two other districts.
Continuation High School Teacher (9th - 12th)
Taught World History, U.S. History, Geography, Economics, Civics, Health, Driver's Ed, and P.E. integrating character education and authentic assessment into the curriculum to at-risk and credit deficient students at North Valley High School.
Special Day Class Teacher (3rd - 5th)
Taught 3-5th grade students at Fariview Elementary with special needs adhering to the IDEA act and making appropriate accommodations to the core curriculum for each students' academic and behavioral success.
Independent Study Teacher (k - 8)
Taught k-8 students core curriculum and electives both short term and long term independent study. Students were either at-risk, distance learners, had medical conditions, or unique learning styles. Worked closely with families and school sites to ensure compliance.
Intervention Teacher (3rd - 12th)
Taught 3 summers of Title I language arts and math and high school World History, U.S. History and Geography. Also taught after school reading intervention (3rd-5th) at Fairview Elementary and after school algebra intervention (7th-8th) at C.K. Price Middle School
Boy's and Girl's Varsity Volleyball Coach
Provided meaningful service opportunities for suspended and/or expelled students at South County Community School (no longer in operation). Supervised over 60 severely at-risk students serving over 500 hours at local non-profits including the following:
Recruited, screened, trained, and retained volunteer mentors and managed a case load of at-risk children.
