Throughout his career, Ohio native Daniel Nichter has maintained a number of concurrent professional roles. Dedicated to his vocational pursuits, he seeks many avenues in which to share his expertise in teaching, real estate, project management, strategic planning, business oversight, budgeting, and task analysis. Since 1985, Dan Nichter has served Buyers Source Realty Group as a specialist in commercial and residential real estate leasing, sales, and consulting; he has also acted as Project Manager on many of the company’s residential and commercial real estate projects. As an adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University since 2008, Dan Nichter has provided students seeking a business education with invaluable knowledge in the subjects of accounting, management, real estate, and marketing. Prior to teaching at The Ohio State University, Dan Nichter served as Adjunct Professor at Columbus State Community College for more than a decade, where he taught similar courses. Daniel Nichter graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and studied real estate, finance, business management, and accounting. While enrolled in school, Dan Nichter worked full-time and earned his real estate and real estate broker licenses.In 1995, Dan Nichter began an extensive association with Franklin County, where he served in various positions until 2005. Those positions included Delinquency Analyst in the Real Estate Tax Delinquency Division of the Franklin County Treasurer’s Office, Chief Deputy for the Franklin County Recorder’s Office, and Director for the Franklin County Development Department. Dan Nichter holds membership with the Ohio Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and The Columbus Board of Realtors. From 2008 to 2010, he also served the Hilliard City Council. Giving back to his community, Daniel Nichter employs his gifts for social good by volunteering with Riverside Methodist Hospital. In the past, he served as a Board Member of Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Columbus, a charity he still actively supports. In addition, Dan Nichter contributes to St. Brendan’s Catholic Church and frequently reads the Bible as testament to his strong faith. When not working, Dan Nichter plays baseball and softball, and he regularly cheers for Ohio State at local football games.
