In this role, she trained volunteer tutors for the library's adult literacy program and assessed the reading level of its participants. Danielle Kaliterna earned her multiple subject teaching credential from California State University in Chico. Previously Ms. Kaliterna graduated from Humboldt State University, where she studied early childhood education and psychology, earning her Bachelor of Arts in 1982. At present, Danielle Kaliterna enjoys helping others. She is a member of the Shasta County Southeast Asian Christian Ministry, where she currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors. She also contributes to the American Heart Association, National Parks System, and the American Cancer Society. In her free time, she enjoys reading; traveling; and kayaking; as well as spending time with her son, family, and pets.
