Conducted power generation analysis for the 2014 and 2015 World Energy Outlook (WEO), the Africa Energy Outlook and the Energy and Climate Change report focusing on:

  • the future deployment of renewables in terms of capacity additions, cost reduction, investments and subsidies; created a model to evaluate the competitiveness of renewables technologies against the conventional power generation;
  • the impact of the energy efficiency on climate change issues; evaluated the power sector impact of the submitted national climate pledges for COP21;
  • the importance of off-grid solutions in providing access to electricity in Africa; developed a model to evaluate the generation coming from people who get access.
