I am a creative individual who loves learning new things and coming up with unorthodox solutions to existing problems, which is something that occurs rather often in my research! I believe that the scientific mindset towards problem-solving, coupled with quantitative tools for modelling and simulation which form a physicist's standard toolkit, can also be profitably used in business and finance to uncover interesting trends in the underlying data and devise/backtest new strategies
