Responsibilities included researching content for episodes of Cardiff's brand new flagship weekday show, 'The Crunch: Cardiff' which brings the latest news, sport, weather and entertainment to local viewers. Other duties consisted of editing news items with premiere pro, gathering data, recording video packages, interviewing local residents, etc.

Co-presenter of 'Saturday Sessions'; a lively, topical weekend show promoting Cardiff's music scene. My roles have included researching material, booking guests, preparing scripts, uploading files and most importantly,  learning to apply my radio knowledge on a weekly basis.

Newport City Radio

News Bulletins are every Thursday 5-7pm. 

Tasks included researching content, writing news scripts, editing stories, etc.  This offered me the opportunity to develop my radio skills both on and off air. The role allowed me to chat to local residents from Newport to find the stories that mattered to them. Due to the live nature of the bulletins, preparation was crucial. I had to make sure that the content I was gathering was appropriate for the station and its listeners.
