Dan Harkey, a licensed real estate broker doing business in Irvine, California, arranges commercial real estate loans for funding by private investors and institutional lenders. He currently owns and operates CalComm Capital, Inc. founded in 2010, and National Financial Lending, Inc. founded in 1995.

Dan Harkey has specialized in arranging and servicing short term private money bridge loans for over 35 years. Mr. Harkey has been involved in many professional groups including in his role as past director and education chair/committee member with the California Mortgage Association. He has been an active participant in writing state legislation governing mortgage brokerage.

As an instructor, Dan Harkey has taught classes on construction and land lending, commercial lending and underwriting, and on issues involving real property insurance. He has also lectured on similar subjects at colleges. He previously taught business at two southern California high schools.

Dan Harkey earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Long Beach, before beginning his career. He also served as a licensed State of California insurance broker-agent.
