With an extensive background in telecommunications, media, finance, international business and community partnerships, we are able to look at situations and develop solutions that pull from a wide range of real world experiences.

  • Collaborated daily with outside communications counsel and internal executive team to implement our proactive communications strategy to ensure consistency and suitability of key messaging for media, community partners, investors and employees to support our strategic objectives and to ensure a positive corporate image.
  • Created investor relations program and expanded ongoing efforts to proactively communicate with financial advisors successfully increasing company’s visibility.
  • Managed daily flow of information between executive management, board of directors, and operating subsidiaries to ensure each audience had the information required to operate successfully.
  • Directed design and implementation of critical external, as well as internal communications tools designed to maximize shareholder value, including annual reports, annual meetings, quarterly communications, newsletters and management road shows.
  • Directed and developed corporate messaging including proactive, as well as crisis communications, with media, investors and employees for multiple acquisitions and asset sales totaling $1.6 billion, including the final sale of the company to Clear Channel Communications.
  • Oversight of government lobbying in several jurisdictions including Federal, State and local.
  • Led collaborative public relations teams in multiple locations.
  • Directed award winning corporate giving program overseeing a $1 million annual budget.Created and managed first company wide community project which connected all employees from each operating division to one non-profit in a two year, $5 million nationwide project.

Dan was born in Seattle and is a lifelong resident of Washington State.He attended Whitman College and following graduation returned to Seattle where he lives today.Dan is an active member of the community and currently serves or has served on the board of directors of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho & Washington, Crystal Mountain Alpine Club (CMAC), Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) Foundation, CityClub, Junior Achievement and MOHAI.In addition Dan was a founding board member of The Benefit Gang, now known as Seattle Works, an innovative volunteering network for young adults in Seattle.

Dan is an avid skier, who loves fly-fishing, photography, pulling up full crab pots from Dabob Bay in Hood Canal and with his wife Celia works hard to keep up with their three children - Eloise, Isabelle and Jackson; all of whom are very active in school, music, sports and art.
