The hospital named a wing of its pediatric rehabilitation unit after Dan Biondi and his wife, in appreciation for their efforts on its behalf; and the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council recognized his contributions to the care of the sick with its Theodore Roosevelt Award.

In his most recent role as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of LECO Japan Corporation, Dan Biondi also acted as a Representative Director of the company’s board. The organization, which was a wholly-owned subsidiary of LECO Corporation, USA, specializes in scientific and analytical instrument systems. During his tenure with the company, LECO Japan accomplished numerous goals for sales and profitability, streamlined operating costs, and new jobs. Prior to assuming his responsibilities at LECO Japan, Dan Biondi served in such capacities as an Executive Consultant for Arizona-based Conventional Wisdom, LLC and the Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Scientific Equipment Group of Olympus America, Inc.
