Summary

With a flair for fashion and a mind for finance, Dana Finegold functions as Chief Financial Officer of JD Fine & Company, a California-based firm she owns with her husband, Jamie. The company oversees the operations and production of fashion lines, having found the most success with its Tart Collections line. Dana Finegold devised the concept behind Tart Collections while she was still in college, picturing a line of clothing that captures the flirty style of West Coast college students. Tart Collections produces a new line of clothing multiple times a year and most recently announced the Summer 2012 line, which features the Reese Dress, the Valerie Jumper, and the Diane Top. As Chief Financial Officer, Dana Finegold takes responsibility for financial management at JD Fine & Company. Additionally, she provides a great deal of oversight to operations and clothing production. She draws on her background as a student of business, accounting, and economics at the University of California Santa Barbara, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. Dana Finegold also offers her financial expertise as an advisor to Campolindo High School, helping the school manage funding for events, and she serves as treasurer for a local little league. Dana Finegold also finds time to give to the community through volunteer work with the National Charity League, a 50-year-old organization that not only promotes charitable giving but also encourages mother and daughter bonding. Mothers and daughters are encouraged to volunteer together at one of the League’s 30 chosen charities. Additionally, Dana Finegold enjoys taking time to travel, especially to the beaches of Costa Rica.
