The management and the effective utilisation of 24 survey teams, operating nationally for various distribution network operators each conducting condition assessment surveys on electrical overhead and other underground assets. Also responsible for the management of 3 back office staff including 2 data analysts and 1 project co-ordinator. General duties included processing, planning,monitoring and controlling the work to be issued out on site whilst delegating workloads to key members of the back office team.
The planning and organisation of teams, equipment and materials to ensure they were utilised effectively and plan and schedule work on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to achieve production and quality targets.Ensuring company vehicles were in good order: - planning servicing and routine maintenance, arranging hire vehicles, allocating resources to specific vehicles and performing spot checks and audits on company vehicles. I maintained liaison with Clients regarding contract specifications at weekly meetings and maintained quality performance using audit checks, including site surveys, 1 in 10 reports and monitored all key performance indicators on a weekly basis whilst ensuring operational processes and procedures were fully suitable and compatible for the needs of the business.I was also responsible for ensuring that all technical work was carried out to the very highest level of quality and at the same time managed the awareness of Freedom’s H&S policy and rules and kept up to date on changes that impacted all operational roles.
