Dakota Scott

Youth & Discipleship Pastor

Summary

I was called to ministry my senior year in high school, and did not really want to accept such a calling from the Lord, but God had better plans. As I attended Cameron University God began to change my heart for ministry and called me to serve on a couple short term mission trips in SE Asia and two summers at Falls Creek. My desire to be in the Lord's will increased greatly those four years of college and I began my journey during my last two semesters as a youth pastor at a small church in 2013. Quickly the Lord took me to a bigger church and I served there for two and half years and after I graduated from college in 2015 I knew without a doubt God wanted me to be full time, so the search began and I have been full time since April, 2016.

More About Me

My wife and I both have a strong passion for student ministry and because of that we have created a philosophy of ministry to guide us in the way we do ministry:

Being called to serve the Lord through ministry we will first love and grow in Him. Through our growth we will serve the people around us in love and pursue to make disciples who own their faith, can find strength in their Lord no matter what life throws at them and teach others to do the same. We will strive to instill the severity of sin and rekindle the urgency of seeking to save the lost.
