Project: Business Intelligence for CMS Data Quality Monitoring and Data Certification

The core of the project involved a comparative study of available Business Intelligence frameworks and the design and implementation of a data warehouse and suitable dimensional model (star schema). To support this it was also necessary to implementation the typical first and last step of a Business Intelligence solution:  An ETL framework to supply the data warehouse with data;  Find a flexible reporting solution that would make it easy to design a set of fixed reports that can be distributed in multiple formats using multiple channels to multiple stakeholders, but would also give the possibility to query the dimensional fact model in an ad hoc way, drilling down from the highest to the most fine grain level of the CMS quality data.
