David Glover

I am an Experienced Innovaton Manger! For the past 20+ years I have been managing teams of R&D professionals in new product innovation with companies such as Alberto Culver, Mary Kay, Amway and Elkay. Most recently I have been involved with iWerks, a new innovation group formed by Elkay to research consumer needs in the home. We built new “Outcome Driven Innovation” and “Voice of the Consumer” consumer research methods to learn what is important to them and what jobs consumers are trying to get done and what are the unmet needs in the home. I started my career as a Chemist in Hair Care for Amway, then in Skin Care R&D for Mary Kay. My experience spans both the Consumer side and Supply side as I established Expertise Centers and Application labs with Hormel and Dow Corning. As I was promoted to leadership positions I was able to cultivate my management skills for Mary Kay as Group Leader of Skin Care and for Alberto Culver as Senior Innovation Manager. My objective is to apply proven leadership skills and career passion for Research and Development to cultivate a vibrant and effective force of technical professionals who deliver robust, novel new products that surpass customer expectations, increase Brand recognition, and contribute to Corporate Sales and the long-term success of the Company. My goal is to utilize 20+ years of industry experience to help develop successful high-level strategies to achieve the company vision.
