Provided daily supervision & direction to 120 non-exempt employees for three flagship production lines.  Led 25 Kaizens (Continuous Process Improvement Events) in Assembly and Fabrication areas.   Led teams that identified and implemented continuous projects with over $500,000 of annualized savings.  Taught Lean Manufacturing course to exempt and non-exempt personnel in facility of 1800 hourly and salaried employees.  Implemented Kanban Material Replenishment systems on 3 production lines, which improved material flow throughout facility and reduced component stock-outs by 10%.


Process Engineer

Allied Signal Aerospace, Baltimore MD

Provided daily production support to facility’s primary high volume production line.  Successfully led Six Sigma projects to determine root causes and eliminate process/product defects.  Implemented material flow improvement projects to for Supplier Point of Use Program, reducing inventory turns by 20%.  Monitored, taught and coached 1 assembly work team in process improvement.  Improved process capability through the application of Six Sigma methods to reduce process variation and optimize performance.
