Mehta presently serves as the Vice Chair of the Ethics Committee and is a member of the Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Committee and Annual Conference Planning Committee for the Association. He acted as the Chair for the AILA’s National Pro Bono Committee from 2009 to 2011 and earned the Michael Maggio Memorial Pro Bono Award in 2011 in recognition of his continued work in this area.
