General Sales Manager-Charlotte, NC- Lead a sales team accountable for generating $24 million dollars in sales annually in the Charlotte market. Hire, train and inspire a team of 24 managers, account executives and sales assistants. Responsibilities include; development and executive of overall sales strategy; recruitment/onboarding of new team members; grow value of assets through rate and occupancy management. During my first year, market grew 6% in revenue, first YOY growth in four years. Year Two, team is on track to achieve a 10% YOY growth. General Manager-Hilton Head Island, SC-promoted Oversee all aspects of a 17 person, $4 million dollar outdoor advertising market in the Hilton Head/Savannah DMA. Responsibilities include financial management, sales direction, government relations, marketing strategy, operations, lease/risk management and profitability. Over a 4 year period, average YOY increase of operating profit by 14% and revenue by 12%. Serving as the first General Manager for this market, led a market transition team that successfully turned a Charleston sales satellite office of 3 people into a fully functioning market in less than 6 months.
