Cyndi Ray is an experienced business professional with a passion for team building and leadership in the highly competitive financial industry. A graduate of Cedarville College in Ohio, Cyndi Ray earned a business administration degree with a focus on management/marketing and coaching. A member of the Columbus and Dublin, Ohio, chapters of the National Association of Professional Women, she received recognition as the organization’s “Woman of the Year” for 2013-2014. Most recently employed as a senior director in the home lending division of TIAA-CREF in Charlotte, North Carolina, she has a long history working in financial institutions and using tested strategies to turn around low-performing sales divisions.
For most of two decades, Cyndi Ray pursued a career in the Columbus, Ohio, area, working in senior-level positions for JPMorgan Chase. Beginning in a sales supervisor job, she progressed to vice president of national sales development. In this role, she improved retention rates in the mortgage banking area by more than 30 percent through the creation of the “Grow Your Own Loan Officer” program. Cyndi Ray also focused on improving retention through internal training, mentoring, and promotion.
