Text Section

To whom it may concern,

My name is Alexander Oman and I am completing my final year of the Bachelor of Science student at the University of Melbourne, wanting to return into customer service. I am applying for this position to further develop my experience within the customer service field and hoping to increase my independence. This positions is ideal as it will provide me with the experience that I will further use and develop in the future.

I am majoring in physiology and will further my learning with an honours year following the completion of my undergraduate degree. I have a passion for learning and have found that studying the human body provides me with a nearly limitless supply of learning as new things are found very frequently. I believe I am the right candidate for this position due to my extensive prior experience in customer service, the high standards I hold in my work ethic, my mature yet friendly personality and my enthusiasm to help portray a company vision in a positive way.

In my free time, I am an avid reader, I ski and play basketball to keep fit, I am almost fluent in Spanish and I enjoy cooking for family and friends. Coming from a large family, I find that I work very well in a team environment and actively participate and contribute to a common goal. Recently, I had the great pleasure of being voted a part of the committee for the Melbourne University Ski Club due to my enthusiasm, positive attitude and social skills. I find that being a representative of the committee, I am able to build an approachable and friendly relationship with others which I believe is an important attitude to develop for any career.

I believe that I have a lot to offer and I am eager to further develop my interpersonal and communication skills. I have enclosed a copy of my resume for your consideration and I hope to be able to further discuss my application with you at an interview.

Thank you kindly for the opportunity to apply for the position.

Kind Regards,

Alexander Oman.
