·Assisted in performance of reconnaissance operations; employed, fired, and recovered anti-personnel and anti-tank mines; located and neutralized mines.
·Operated, mounted/dismounted, zeroed, and engaged targets using night vision sights
·Operated and maintained communications equipment and operated in a radio net.
·Performed as a member of a fire team during a movement to contact, reconnaissance and security, an attack, defense, situational training exercises and all infantry dismounted battle drills.
·Trained to operate in an NBC contaminated environment; also to process prisoners of war and captured documents.
·Supervised up to 4 man fire teams and 8 man squads when called upon to do so for movement, battle drills, or physical training.
·Responsible for delivering required ammunition to soldiers on a variety of field training exercises and training grounds, also had hazmat license for explosives.
·Acquired driver's badge recognition for driving over 3,000 miles with no accidents in military spec vehicles, including 5 ton, 2.5 ton, and HUMVEE trucks.
